A 501c3 non-profit organization Who are we?
Half Moon Husky Rescue is comprised
of a group of individuals dedicated to improving the lives of Siberian huskies. We rely on foster homes and private
boarding to house our huskies until they find their forever home. We network with other Siberian husky rescues and related
groups to create as much exposure as is possible to help re-home huskies. We stress owner education with particular emphasis
on effective and humane training, and place our dogs with those who will care for them as we would; with love and respect.
If you are interested in becoming a foster home, and you reside in Southern California, please let us know!

Before considering a Siberian husky,
is this you?: - I prefer a yard that resembles the surface of the moon-barren with holes,
craters, and mysterious tunnels that go nowhere...
- I want a dog that hates to be alone
all day and will invent games to amuse himself-like "The Great American Sofa Take Apart Challenge", and "Howling,
the Musical"
- I want a dog who will not only become instant friends with the burglar who
just broke in, but will happily jump in the van and go home with him, too!
- I want a dog who
wakes up ready to RUN! and PLAY! and HAVE FUN! even on a SUNDAY MORNING!, when I could be SLEEPING!, but noooooooo...instead
I am up at the crack of dawn freezing my %&! off at a mushing event! for my DOG!

Does this sound like you? If you answered "yes"
to each question, then I am happy to say we have a match for you! If you answered "no" but you would still like to add a Siberian to your home, please
consider a senior dog. They make great companions and really, really need a home!
